Anyone can create a BEP20 token in the BSC with any name, including creating fake versions of existing tokens and tokens claiming to represent projects that don't have a token.
Always confirm that the contract address matches the actual token you wish to transfer. Do not touch tokens that you have never purchased or are not aware of that might be a phishing token.
